The Nutcracker

Come see Metropolitan Ballet Theatre's family friendly production of The Nutcracker this holiday season at the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center. Year after year audiences are enchanted by MBT’s performances which feature student and professional dancers, fabulous costumes, and beautiful scenery – including a Christmas tree that seemingly grows forever, magical dancing dolls, marching toy soldiers, giant mice, a dazzling blizzard with dancing snowflakes and a land of luscious sweets.

The Nutcracker Suite
December 7th - 15th, 2024

Looking for children's activities this holiday season? Metropolitan Ballet Theatre's The Nutcracker Suite is a perfect, shorter-length introduction to the theater and ballet, geared to young audiences! Each performance of The Nutcracker Suite will last approximately 1 hour with a short intermission. 

SPECIAL EVENT, SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 23RD:
MBT dancers will perform excerpts of The Nutcracker at the annual tree lighting ceremony at Clarksburg Premium Outlets, free to the public. See here for more details, and join us for the holiday lights, cheer, and dancing!

    The Nutcracker (Full Length Show) averages 2 hours with intermission. The Nutcracker Suite (Shorter Length Show) averages 45 minutes without intermission.
  • Can I video or take pictures at the performance?
    We hire a professional videographer to film all shows. Videos will be available for purchase to the public after the performance. Phone and flash photography can be a distraction to our dancers as well as to the audience members around you. For that reason, the taking of photographs or video recording of the show is strictly prohibited.
