The MBT Board of Directors is composed of members representing a range of ethnic, cultural, and educational backgrounds. They each bring a unique perspective to the board in helping promote the MBT mission and maintain MBT’s long-term success.

Mugdha Tipnis

MUGDHA TIPNIS President

Mugdha Tipnis serves as a Vice President for WSP, and in her current role she leads the transportation group for WSP’s DC Office. She comes with more than 18 years of experience leading engineering design and construction in the transportation industry in the D.C. Metro region.   

Morgan George

MORGAN GEORGE
Vice President & Co-chair Finance Committee

An alumna of Metropolitan Ballet Theatre, Morgan George is currently an analyst with JP Morgan Chase in New York City. Morgan received her degree in Systems Engineering and Economics from the University of Virginia.

Elizabeth Catlett

Artistic & Executive Director

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Ms. Catlett began her dance training with the University of Louisville Dance Academy. Her passion for teaching and choreographing led her to Radford University where she earned a B.S. in Dance Education. Ms. Catlett has performed

Jay Gagen

​James (Jay) is a litigator with the law firm of Allen & Overy LLP, and Jay's practice focuses on intellectual property, international trade, and competition matters in federal tribunals around the country.  

Olivia Evans

Olivia Evans is a CPA, and currently is a Consultant at WilliamsMarston LLC in Boston. Olivia is an alumna of Metropolitan Ballet Theater.

Ella Mae Gray was born and raised in the historic Hall-Oldfield Community of East Tennessee.  She's a veteran of the United States Air Force performing two consecutive overseas tours in the United Kingdom and Turkey.

David Mccormick-Goodhart

Finance Committee

David is a financial advisor in Savant Capital’s McLean, VA, office and a member of Savant’s Advisory Team. He is responsible for managing all aspects of the financial planning and investment process for Savant’s clients.

Ms. Harris is the Senior Video Editor and Multimedia Specialist at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars located in Washington, DC. Shaarona graduated from American University in 2002

David Walker

DAVID WALKER
Ex-Officio

Mr. Walker is in his sixth year on the Board and currently serves as Secretary of MBT.  He is a real estate transactional attorney who began his legal career in 1983 as a law clerk for Charles E. Smith Management, Inc. (now JBG Smith) while earning his law degree at night attending The Washington College of Law at American University.

Ebony Brunson, SHRM-SCP is a Human Resources Strategic Partner in Booz Allen Hamilton’s Global Defense Sector. Mrs. Brunson provides guidance to senior leaders to support HR and People development activities by bringing a consulting mindset to the business.

Euna Patil currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit of a Global Healthcare Company headquartered in Arlington,
Virginia. Euna is a function leader charted by the Company’s Board of Directors and a strategic partner to the
executive team; with focus to build, develop and transform a global Internal Audit Group.

Steve is Owner and Managing Director for Supporting Strategies.  Since 2018, Steve has been helping businesses by providing accounting services to growing businesses.  His consultative and partnership approach has helped him win many awards, including being the 2022 Gaithersburg- Germantown Chamber Small Business of the Year.
