To register – complete the 2020-2021 registration form, then mail, email or bring your form to MBT. Your place in class is only guaranteed with your registration materials and deposit, and after you have confirmed availability and placement with our artistic staff for a particular class day/time. You may establish a payment plan at the time of registration.

Youth Ballet

The Youth Ballet Program offers dancers ages 7 and up the ability to train in a disciplined classical ballet setting with a schedule that offers flexibility for students who wish to attend as few as one class per week. Youth Ballet students also have the choice to register for a semester or full year. Dancers in the Youth Ballet Program will be taught MBT’s Academic Ballet curriculum and have professional performing opportunities. Placement by artistic faculty is required for levels 2Y-5Y; beginning dancers do not need a placement.

Additional Information:
- Youth Ballet students are eligible to perform in The Nutcracker and the Annual Gala. Beginning Ballet students are also eligible to participate in the Young Dancer Showcase. In the instance that we cannot produce planned performances due to COVID restrictions, video will be taken in in-studio classes and shared with parents.
- Students who begin their training in the Youth Ballet Program may request placement into the Academic Ballet program, as space allows in appropriate placement level.
- Youth Ballet students taking two or more ballet classes weekly for the full year may add any other discipline for $400.
- Registering for a full year after classes have begun: Opportunity to receive the prorated full year tuition rate is only available before Thanksgiving break. Registrations received after this time will incur the prorated semester rate, plus the cost of the full second semester.
Private Classes
MBT offers private lessons in nearly every discipline taught in the academy in individual or small groups. These classes are perfect for home-school groups. Please contact us for more details!
By registering for classes at Metropolitan Ballet Theatre & Academy, students and parents/guardians are expected to read and adhere to the Code of Conduct, Liability Policy, and Dress Code. All of this information is also found in print form at the MBT office.
